Web Merchant Interface - Accepting payments through payment terminals ATMs and stores
the article is out of datethe article is out of dateAccepting payments through payment terminals, ATM's and stores using the Web Merchant Interface.¶
Enabling this option in the Merchant WebMoney service settings will allow you to start accepting payments from users who are NOT members of the WebMoney Transfer system in an automatic mode using payment terminals, ATM's, banks and stores supporting WebMoney payments. For a seller receiving such a payment is no different from receiving money from clients with registered WM purse except for a few details described below.
To better understand the behavior of a store visitor making a payment using this technology, refer to the videos and descriptions in the article called Methods for paying without registering on the system or descriptions of terminal payments in Russia or Ukraine.
If this option is enabled it is important to provide a correct description of the terminal payment procedure on the seller's website. Leaving the payment form unchanged and the way it was formatted for accepting payments from WebMoney purses will not suffice. You will need to feature these new types of payments in a separate menu section and supply them with links to corresponding descriptions explaining the process for Russian users depending on the type of purse (WMR used for accepting payments. Alternatively you can publish a detailed guide with screenshots on your site to make sure your customers understand how they can make deposits to their WebMoney purses (that are their mobile phones at the same time) and make payments afterwards. If this option on your site is featured separately and supplied with a good description you will see a lot more users resorting to it. Practice shows that the minimal increase of the number of paying customers is in the ballpark of 10% of the entire pool of paying customers.
If you accept payments both to WMR purses, you need to select both options individually since the customer who made a deposit in rubles through a terminal will not be able to pay to a WMZ purse (and vice versa).
If a customer on the seller's site has chosen the terminal payment option, they can be redirected to a corresponding payment method. This can be done by passing the "at=authtype_13" value in the GET parameter of the payment form. Later when the payment form is submitted to https://merchant.wmtransfer.com/lmi/payment.asp?at=authtype_13 the customer will not have to select a payment method and will be able to proceed directly to checkout.
If the seller knows the customer's mobile number that was used for making a deposit via a terminal it can be passed in the "lmi_wmcheck_numberinside" POST parameter. In this case, the customer will also be redirected to a corresponding payment page and the mobile phone number field will have the right value.
Some other useful hints:
- payments to sellers' purses made using this option (WebMoney Check service) ALWAYS have the WM#000000000000 identifier of Paymer.com and are made from one of the WM purses of this identifier (Z000000000001, R000000000001, U000000000001, E000000000001, Y000000000001, etc) depending on the type of the seller's purse
- all payment notifications, data transmission formats and other parameters remain the same, as if the payment was made from WM Keeper WinPro or Light. Result notifications (result, success, failure) contain both a WM identifier and a WM purse, the only difference being that instead of a customer's identifier and purse number they contain these of the Paymer.com
- when this option is enabled, all requests (preliminary, result, success, failure) contain an LMI_WMCHECK_NUMBER parameter that is passed to the seller and contains the number of a WebMoney check (the number of the customer's mobile number) (see a detailed guide).
- payment notes supplied by the seller will contain the following phrase at the beginning: “Redeem WMcheck XXX\YYY” , where XXX is the check number (mobile phone number) and YYY is a unique payment number in the Merchant.Webmoney system used for payments by checks and WM notes;
When this option is enabled, direct deposits to the seller's purse become impossible using the methods described above.
