What document is required for address verification

An address confirmation document, other than your passport, must be issued within the last 6 months and must clearly contain your full name (first name, middle name, and surname) as well as your postal address.

You may provide one of the following documents:

  • utility bill
  • bank account statement
  • document issued by a governmental or other competent authority
  • passport page with residence information
  • tax document
  • home insurance document

How to confirm a residential address abroad without registration or rental agreement

A residential address abroad can be confirmed with documents issued in your name by the authorities or institutions of the host country. The following are acceptable:

  • a bank certificate or account statement indicating your residential address;
  • a document confirming registration with local migration authorities;
  • other official documents containing your personal data and actual residential address (e.g., a tax notice, insurance policy, or letter from a government authority).

Documents issued in the name of friends or relatives are not accepted.


Which document is required for address verification in Uzbekistan

To confirm their residential address, residents of Uzbekistan must provide a "Certificate of Permanent Residence Registration" (Certificate of Residence), obtained online via the my.gov.uz portal.
