Using links for OBS, XSplit and Streamlabs¶
Every streaming software includes the ability to add web pages to the stream. It's done through the source manager, and in most cases this source will be called «Browser».
As an example, we present to you the instructions for adding widgets in the OBS Studio program:
1 Open the program and get to the main screen where you edit the scene. Press «+/Add» in the «Sources» section and select «Browser».
2 Enter a name for the source in the appeared window, such as «Alert» or «Goal», and proceed to the source properties. Paste the link you received when setting up widgets into the «URL» line. In properties you can also change the source size and other parameters.
3 Done! The added sources will be displayed in the broadcast, as shown in the preview. You can adjust scale and position of widgets right on the preview screen.
If you have problems adding a widget, please refer to the documentation for the program you are using.
